The Indianapolis Modern Quilt Guild is a part of The Modern Quilt Guild network and was started for modern sewists to connect and create together. There are no rules about what "modern quilting" is or is not, but we think it is the freedom to create or design in a way that feels "right" to you! All experience levels are welcomed and encouraged to join!

Here are some things you can do to connect with other modern quilters locally:
  1. Attend the monthly IMQG meetup. Dates will be posted on this blog and the Facebook group, so following both is a great way to stay in touch.
  2. Upload pictures of quilts you've done, via Flickr or Facebook.
  3. Tell your friends! Bring a friend to a meeting or invite them to follow this blog.
  4. If you have a blog, share it with the group, and check out other member's blogs. It's a great way to get to know one another. (Just comment on any post to have your blog added to the blogroll.)
  5. Get our button and put it on your website.

  1. It would be good if you post a link to new blog entries on FB to pull those of us there to the updates. I don't check things like google and yahoo daily or even weekly. Email and facebook for me. I think blogspot does it automatically, but I don't know much about it.

Not sure where to submit member blogs my website is

Web site looks great and I especially like the upcoming events all nice and handy on the right! Great job!
