IMQG Retreat/Sleepover Recap

Way back at the beginning of March we had the very first IMQG Retreat/Sleep Over.  We had 10 guild members present and we got a whole lot accomplished especially if we include having fun in that list of accomplishments!  Here's a little mini recap in case you missed it:
  • We kicked off the retreat with a lovely dinner and sangria made by Jenny, Lindsay and Tisha.
  • There was an awesome show and tell.
  • A game of Left Right Center for fat quarters which was won by the other Jennie.
  • Then a round of prize drawings where everyone got some good loot
  • Then we jumped into sewing, ironing, cutting, piecing and all that jazz.
  • We chatted
  • We stayed up late
  • There was breakfast and more chatting, sewing, ironing, piecing, cutting, and all that good stuff.
Overall I think our first retreat was AWESOMESAUCE.  It would not have been so without our hostess the lovely Lindsay who opened her home to us, rounded up awesome sponsors to provide prizes, and treated us like royalty (she even gave up her bed).
Big thanks to everyone who donated prizes hopefully I don't miss any -
PS Several of the guild members also blogged about the retreat you can read about them here - Lindsay, and Tisha.
