Hands: Shaping Our Worlds Art Exhibit

The Women's Studies Program at IUPUI is putting on an art exhibit at the Cultural Arts Gallery downtown. We (the Indianapolis Modern Quilt Guild) have been invited to set up a booth at the opening reception to share modern quilting with the community.
We have accepted the booth, and will be at the event with a few quilts, a photo slideshow, and flyers about our guild and modern quilting. We think it will be a fun opportunity to share and explain modern quilting with the community.
While we already have enough members to run the booth and fill it with quilts, we invite everyone to come to the reception and see all the other art groups (and our booth, of course!).

Here are a few details from the official site:

We are honored to invite you to the reception

IUPUI’s Women's Studies Program, the Office for Women, and the
Cultural Arts Gallery are excited to announce this year's student and community art exhibit, running during the month of May! The theme of this year's show focuses on how hands shape our private and social experiences. Hands - and the lack thereof - help us express how we
perceive, relate to, and interact with ourselves, one another, and our daily lives. Come see the art, meet the artists, listen to live music, and meet representatives from local social justice organizations. We look forward to seeing you at the reception! For more information, there is a Facebook group for the event.
