Travel Quilt Challenge Reminder

Just a reminder that the quilt challenge will be held this month at the Oct meeting. There is still time to join. Anyone is welcome to submit a quilt! This will be a relaxed environment so don't be afraid to enter, even if it is a "judged" show!

In case you need a reminder, here are the details.

 Indy Modern Quilt Guild

2015 Theme Challenge

You are challenged to create a quilt that is inspired by “travel” using any technique or combination of techniques.

Guidelines:
  • A quilt is defined as a sewn project consisting of three layers: top, batting (middle) and backing.
  • Quilts may be any size or form the creator wishes.
  • You can employ any technique or combination of techniques to achieve your depiction of the theme (paper piecing, applique, whole cloth, embroidery, etc.)
  • Please include a label with a brief description of your inspiration and how/why you used the techniques you did in your quilt.

The Indy Modern Quilt Guild will present the first place winner with a gift certificate to a local fabric store.
